Mrs. Ashly
Just Do It Montessori was founded by Ashly Henderson, who is the Directress and Lead Teacher at the school. Ashly has taught Preschool and Kindergarten extensively in Northern California beginning in 2002. She left teaching in 2012, after relocating from the Bay Area and accepted a position outside of teaching. Ashly felt unfulfilled and longed to return to the classroom.

After the birth of her daughter and touring various schools in Placer County for her daughter to attend, Just Do It Montessori was born. Ashly wanted to create a safe and inclusive environment that fosters independent learning, creativity and a child-centered approach, allowing her daughter and all children in the community to benefit from this unique learning environment.
Ashly holds an American Montessori Credential and has taught in traditional schools prior to discovering her love and passion for Montessori education. Ashly knows what a privilege it is to wake up and do what she loves daily. When she is not teaching, she is chauffeuring her very active five year old to extracurricular activities!
Ms. Sharon
Just Do It Montessori would not be complete without Ms. Sharon. She is a staple of the program and assists with anything and everything in the classroom. She especially loves teaching math! She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, who holds extensive experience in working with children and families. She is an education enthusiast and has gained vast knowledge of the Montessori Method by playing an active role in her granddaughter’s education and observing and assisting her daughter in the Montessori classroom over the years. She loves seeing the children’s transformation in a Montessori classroom and how it brings the desire to learn, ability to concentrate, calmness, joy and precocity.
Mrs. Katie
Mrs. Katie brings an array of beautiful music to JDIM! She is an experienced music educator with years of experience in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education, including raising her own three daughters! From private music instruction to music and movement sessions, she’s done it all! She engages the students with singing and dancing activities that include drums and rhythmic instruments for students to explore every week! Katie plays a 34-string harp, guitar, piano, flute and ukulele! When she isn’t making music, she enjoys tap dancing!
Mrs. Tae Kyoung
Mrs. Tae Kyoung loves being a part of the JDIM community! She treasures her relationships with the children and families! She especially loves creating cooking and art lessons for her students. She has over 5 years of teaching experience in Kindergarten and Elementary education in Korea, in addition to being a Scout Leader and Sunday School Teacher. Mrs. Tae Kyoung is a mom to four sons and one daughter, and when they are not keeping her busy, she enjoys cooking, hiking, reading books and exploring new places. Mrs. Tae Kyoung holds two Associate Degrees and is currently working towards her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.
