Is JDIM an in-home school?

Yes, we are a fully licensed in-home Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten Program. We do not operate as a daycare.

Is my child required to be toilet-trained upon enrollment?

Yes, all students are required to be fully-toilet trained at the time of enrollment. This will enable your child to feel confident and independent while at school!

Is there an age requirement at JDIM?

Yes, our school accommodates ages 2.8 to 6 years. By combining multi-age groups in one classroom, older children are able to model and hone their leadership skills, while the younger children are motivated to observe and learn from the leadership in the class.

Is JDIM open year-round?

Yes, our school operates year round with the exception of holidays and school breaks.

How do I place my child on the waitlist?

Enrollment is not given first-come, first-serve. Enrollment is based on the needs of the child and the community, and the parent’s commitment to a partnership with our school. Parents and the prospective student are required to attend a tour in order to be considered for enrollment. The school will not reserve future enrollment placements. Students will be expected to start school as soon as possible.

Does JDIM require an enrollment fee?

Yes, a non-refundable annual enrollment fee of $95.00 will be due at the time of enrollment. The enrollment fee will be allocated for classroom supplies for the enrolled student.

How many children are enrolled at JDIM?

There are never more than 12 children enrolled in the school at one time with a 1:6 teacher to student ratio.

Does JDIM provide lunch?

No, the children bring their lunches from home. However, snacks are provided by the school for all children in both the Half-Day and Full-Day Program.

Does JDIM offer extended hours?

No, the school opens at 8:20 am and closes at 3:00 pm five days a week.
