When space allows, our Summer Program is open to everyone—not just JDIMA students!
Our Summer Program is an extension of our year-round program, so you can feel confident knowing your child will be safe, nurtured, and celebrated all summer long. Our year-round students especially love the balance of familiar routines paired with fresh summer adventures and new friendships.
Running from June through August, the program offers a structured, enriching environment filled with engaging activities, including:
- Light summer themes to keep learning fresh and fun
- Outdoor water play
- Creative art and self-expression
- A continued focus on social-emotional growth and development—so critical during early childhood
- Team-building activities
- Balanced reading and math practice (kept light and enjoyable for summer)
- Hands-on Montessori materials that support understanding of abstract math concepts
This thoughtful combination provides the perfect balance of fun and learning. Our carefully planned program promotes safety, friendship, and personal growth through meaningful, engaging experiences.
Older students (ages 5–7) enjoy more advanced, age-appropriate activities such as journaling, bookmaking, peer reading, sight-word games, and opportunities to take on leadership roles—building confidence, responsibility, and collaboration as they support younger peers and help guide group activities.
